This ‘members’ exhibit always offers an exciting range of contemporary work. Looking to 2009, Artists’ Union Gallery embraces “Change”, a relevant theme at this moment in time. Bring your friends and join us in the new year for an outstanding array of artwork, as our talented membership invites you to “turn and face the changes...”.

The San Buenaventura Artists' Union is a nonprofit association of professional artists creating in Ventura County, California. Since 1993 its members have worked to elevate the arts to the highest standards, through mutual support and the cultivation of individual and group endeavors that benefit the greater good of our cultural and aesthetic life.

Save Art City!

Art City is at a critical stage and there are immediate funding needs for re-building and restoration of the studio Facilities.
The San Buenaventura Artists' Union has arranged to accept tax deductible donations for Art City while it continues its application for nonprofit status for Art City in Ventura. Donations can be made by check, cash or money order.

First Friday Gallery Walk

Join us for a free self-guided tour of local art galleries, art studios, museums and alternative art venues on the First Friday of every month from 5 - 8 pm. Maps available at all participating venues.

Our mission is to show why Ventura is California's NEWEST ART CITY! Spend your day relaxing by the beach and your evenings purusing the arts in Ventura.
